Lana Del Rey – National Anthem (Official Video ft. ASAP Rocky)

There’s been plenty of buzz about this vid for a bit now since BTS scenes and word of its cinematic co-star came to light, and today Lana Del Rey makes available the fittingly-filtered video for “National Anthem”. Yes we have Lana acting in some semblance to perhaps a couple of her idols in Marilyn Monroe & Jacky O, while on the other hand we get ASAP Rocky playing the part of a swagged the f*ck out JFK.

See what you think of the piece above – personally the song is nothing special and Lana as a “lyricist” in these verses is far from convincing. While the track is pretty mediocre, there’s plenty to be said for the wit and concept of the video, making it worth the eight minute viewing.
