Mac Miller Plans On Releasing A Sophomore LP Early 2013 (Video)
In a recent interview with MTV, ‘the kid’ Mac Miller (are we even allowed to call him that anymore?) let it slip that he has tentatively planned for his next studio album to drop sometime at the top of the new year. Speaking on the success of Blue Slide Park, Miller claimed that – while he appreciated the numbers his independent release pulled – sales aren’t a concern with his sophomore project. Much like Macadelic, I think we can all expect to be taken on a trip whenever it drops.
“I have, like, 22 records that could be on an album right now. Obviously, I can’t make it that long, because with the youth and their A.D.D. problem. I am so excited about that. I think that I’m really onto something with this next album, and I think I’m really creating an album that expresses more of where I’m at right now mentally.” - Mac Miller

Update: “Glow”, a brand new song off of Mac’s and Pharrell’s Pink Slime, just dropped a few minutes ago. Cop that here.
